Of all the topics under the sun, coffee is one of the most controversial ones,  coming up as super healthy one day, and in the list of foods to avoid the other day. Whatever the reasons, if you are trying to quit your coffee habit, below are a few benefits you will love.

Gives you independence: It breaks the coffee cycle, which would otherwise dictate when you feel alert and when you feel sleepy. You no longer are dependant on your drink to increase your productivity, (p.s-for regular drinkers it takes a while to deal with the withdrawal symptoms. But after that, it is going to be great.)

You’ll become richer: No kidding, coffee is expensive. Even more so if you have a habit of reaching out for a branded coffee like Starbucks. You can possibly go for your weekend vacay with one-month savings, or buy that dream car in a few months, you choose.

It will contribute to a brighter smile: It is a known fact that tea, coffee, and colas stain your teeth. Quitting these will eventually give you whiter teeth than your coffee lover colleagues.

It will lead to better sleep: So before I go into detail, a little information on how coffee works- it blocks a chemical called adenosine from making you feel sleepy. So only when the coffee effect wears off, adenosine starts to have its effect and makes you sleepy. Now back to our discussion, when you quit coffee, there is nothing blocking your adenosine thereby helping you fall asleep faster.

Helps you have even mood all day: when you quit coffee, you also come out of the vicious cycle of sudden highs followed by coffee crashes. You start to have a more body regulated balanced alertness throughout the day.
